Umbrella Insurance

Umbrella insurance is an added layer of protection if you are found responsible for someone else's bodily injury – either through a car or boating accident or if someone gets injured on your property. With jury awards increasing, umbrella insurance protects your most valuable assets.

To qualify for umbrella insurance, you must have both your auto and home insurance with PEMCO. Your auto liability levels must be $500,000/$500,000 for bodily injury and $250,000 for property damage. You must also carry homeowner liability limits of $500,000.

You can buy umbrella insurance at limits of $1 million, $2 million, or $3 million. A $1 million policy could cost as little as $135 a year.
