PEMCO teams with Seattle Seahawks, reveals first winner in “Supercharged Seahawks Fan” contest

SEATTLE – PEMCO Insurance is kicking off football season by teaming up with the Seattle Seahawks to find the ultimate "Supercharged Seahawks Fan" in a photo contest benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital.
The "Supercharged Seahawks Fan" contest, inspired by Northwest Profile #12 from PEMCO’s ad campaign, encourages fans to show their Seahawks spirit to support a local charity. For every vote cast online for the most "Supercharged Seahawks" photos, PEMCO will donate $1 to Seattle Children’s Hospital.
"We’re excited to team up with the Seahawks again this year to support Seattle Children’s," said PEMCO spokesperson Jon Osterberg. "We’re proud to partner with an organization that cares deeply about the community. Like the Seahawks, we’re dedicated to serving the community in ways that make a difference, while celebrating what makes the Northwest a special place."
The first winner of the "Supercharged Seahawks Fan" photo contest is Margy Wick of Ephrata, Wash. She posed for her winning photo at PEMCO’s booth in Qwest Field’s Touchdown City and was highlighted on Qwest’s stadium screens (known as HawkVision) during the Seahawks’ game against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 27.
Like Wick, fans can pose as a "Supercharged Seahawks Fan" at every home game by visiting PEMCO’s booth in Touchdown City to submit their photo in the contest. All fans can vote for their favorite "supercharged" fan photo by visiting www.werealotlikeyou.com during the week preceding every Seahawks home game. The photos that collect the most votes will be broadcast on HawkVision during the following home game, throughout the regular NFL season.
Winning photos demonstrate true "Supercharged Seahawk Fan" qualities – passion, loyalty, responsibility, and spontaneity – and are selected by online fan votes each week.
The contest highlights Northwest Profile #12, the "Supercharged Seahawks Fan" from PEMCO’s "We’re A Lot Like You. A Little Different." ad campaign. The campaign seeks to celebrate our shared Northwest values with quirky profiles inspired by the people who make up our community.
