Hall induction just a Heart beat away

Friday, December 14, 2012by  Jon Osterberg

Seattle rock band Heart has punched its ticket into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
On April 13, 2013, core members Ann and Nancy Wilson and their band mates will join the Hall in Los Angeles ceremonies, as will former Seattleite and Garfield High alum Quincy Jones.
Heart exploded onto the national music scene in 1976 with the album “Dreamboat Annie.” Over the years, Bellevue’s Wilson sisters (Anne, Sammamish High class of 1969 and Nancy, Interlake High class of 1972) and Heart scored hits with songs ranging from “Crazy On You” and “Barracuda” to “Magic Man” and “Alone.” Read The Seattle Times article.
