Iconic Spokane eatery to remain Anthony’s?

Generations of Lilac City residents and visitors have flocked to the triple A-frame restaurant overlooking Spokane Falls and the Spokane River. First it was the Polynesia, soon became the Black Angus in 1966 – the second in Stuart Anderson’s huge chain – and later became Salty’s at the Falls, then Anthony’s. The parent company of Anthony’s has now submitted the highest bid to buy the building from the city of Spokane.
