With the recent beautiful weather in Seattle, there’s been a lot more folks outside enjoying the sunshine. The always-popular Green Lake has been extra busy with walkers, joggers and runners of all abilities. The WALLY team joined these Green Lake Power Walkers and many others over the weekend at the Top Pot Doughnut Dash.
While there was a sight drizzle, this didn't stop the WALLY team and many participants from getting out to Green Lake for the 5k event. However, the Top Pot Doughnut Dash wasn't your typical 5k race; once registered participants crossed the finish line, they were rewarded with a delicious Top Pot doughnut - how about a doughnut for some incentive!
PEMCO Brand Ambassador Cael offering the prize wheel to visitors
Among the 2,000 or so participants were many NW Action Figures. The winners of the race clocked impressive times, 18:28 for the fastest female and 14:59 for the fastest male. While we didn't run in the 5k ourselves, the WALLY team was set up near the finish line, where we could also reward participants with a cool PEMCO prize if they spun our prize wheel.
