Eating while driving causes crashes

A semi-truck driver recently spilled his load of apples near Richland when he lost control of his Peterbilt while eating a sandwich.
     The story comes as no surprise to PEMCO claims adjusters, who see many accidents involving drivers distracted by food and drinks, particularly drivers of stick-shift vehicles. Check out PEMCO’s fact sheet, “The 10 worst foods to eat while driving.” As you’d probably guess, the worst foods are those that can spill or ooze onto your clothes.
