Impact local students by joining our 2025 book and supply drive!

In partnership with the Seattle Seahawks and the 12 Pages Reading Program, PEMCO’s annual book and school supply drive is back in 2025. Through our shared commitment to supporting youth literacy, we’re coming together to equip youth across Washington with the supplies they need to succeed in school. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young readers in the Pacific Northwest.  

What is the Supply Surge Book and Supply Drive? 

For years, PEMCO has linked arms with community partners, employees, and customers to collect much-needed school supplies for students in our Northwest communities. Over the past seven years, we’ve collected over 782,700 items for over 65,000 students. This is just one way that we deliver on our commitment to making meaningful impact through our Mutual Good efforts for youth in our communities. In 2024, we partnered with the Seahawks and have continued that impact through a focus on bridging the literacy gap.    

We’re big fans of Seahawks 12 Pages Reading Program, as it helps foster a love for reading and increases access to books for local youth who need it most.  Having competency in reading by the end of elementary school is crucial for a child’s educational journey and future success. We’re excited to come together and do our part to tackle youth literacy by providing the necessary resources for youth who need it most. 

How can you get involved? 

The Supply Surge Book and Supply Drive is officially underway. Now through August 15, we invite all PEMCO employees, customers, and community members to contribute to this important cause. Every book, every pencil, every contribution counts. 

Meet the six deserving elementary schools for our 2025 Supply Surge Book & Supply Drive: 

Hallett Elementary – Medical Lake, WA 

Kenmore Elementary – Kenmore, WA 

Lakewood Elementary – Marysville, WA 

Logan Elementary – Spokane, WA 

Parkwood Elementary – Shoreline, WA 

Spruce Elementary – Lynnwood, WA

This year, we have a shared goal of 750 books and 3,400 total items—a bold step forward in our commitment to youth literacy and learning readiness. All donations will be shipped directly to the schools after the drive ends on August 15. 

This initiative is more than a drive – it’s a reflection of our shared commitment to youth and education. Together, we're not just donating supplies, we're investing in our community’s future leaders.
