Let PEMCO pay your tolls for a year!

Thursday, March 31, 2016by  PEMCO Insurance

To celebrate the opening of the new, safer SR 520 floating bridge this April, we’re holding a contest and giving five lucky winners $2,500 cash each – the equivalent of FREE 520 bridge-crossing tolls for a year!

To enter, go to Facebook and comment on our Facebook post. Tell us who your favorite Northwest Profile commuter is – Recumbent Bike Commuter? Scoommuter? Half-Hearted Honker? Or maybe you’re more of a fan of the Bumper Sticker Idealist or the 4-Way Stop Guy. You can even make up your own! Just be sure to enter by April 17.

We’ll randomly draw five winners’ names from the Facebook comments, and announce them on Monday, April 18. (You can comment as many times as you’d like, but we’ll only count one entry per person. For the full contest rules, click here.)

You can check out the new bridge yourself at the Washington State Department of Transportation’s grand-opening festivities this weekend, April 2 & 3. Events include a ribbon-cutting, 10K fun run, bike ride, and food-truck caravan (check out the schedule of events for details). And be sure to stop by the PEMCO booth between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on April 2 for a free souvenir photo.

The new bridge (which at 1.5 miles long is officially the world’s longest floating bridge) will open to traffic later in April. It’ll also have a dedicated walkway for pedestrians and cyclists, so no matter how you choose to commute, you’ll have more options and a safer way to make the Lake Washington crossing.

For more info on the bridge and the grand opening events, visit WSDOT’s 520 Go Long” site.
