PEMCO among top 10 'best workplaces'

Friday, August 9, 2013by  Jon Osterberg

Thanks to a survey of our employees, PEMCO is proud to be recognized as one of “Washington’s Best Workplaces” by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
The 85 finalist companies were chosen from more than 300 nominees based on employee responses to a May survey. The 85 were then filtered down into categories of small, medium, large, and extra-large companies, and PEMCO was in the top 10 of the latter category.
We congratulate the extra-large-company winner, Tableau Software. Although we didn’t win the top spot, it’s an honor to be among the select few companies recognized by PSBJ on
Aug. 8.
To be one of Washington’s Best Workplaces, a company must be identified as having the best practices in hiring and retaining great employees, a strong leadership culture, excellent employee benefits, and a great work-life-balance philosophy.
Look for the current PSBJ that features all of the finalists. Our own fearless leader, Stan McNaughton, appears on the cover along with three CEOs from companies in the other award categories.
