Outdoor Movies at Magnuson Park kicks-off with a "Greasy" bang!

Four people posing with their golf clubsWe’re spoiled here in the Pacific Northwest, because we get to experience a beautiful summer where the sun rises and sets with enough hours in the day for you to fill with fun! Part of that summer fun can include attending the Outdoor Movies at Magnuson Park, which you can catch viewings at for the next five weeks!

This past week, the WALLY Team found themselves in the midst of a Greasy situation at Magnuson Park … for Grease the movie, of course! We couldn’t think of a better film to kick start the outdoor movies series than with this classic.

While the movies at Magnuson offers many attractions such as nom-worthy food trucks (ones that the Portland Food Carlandian would drool over!), brain stumping trivia, and of course PEMCO's very own Free Prize Wheel; one of the best parts of these weekly films would have to be the people who dress up in accordance to the movie showing that night!

Last night's Grease spotlight landed brightly on Indra, one of Grease's youngest fans! She showed up to Magnuson Park dressed up as a mini version of Sandy, one of the main characters from the film. Indra told the WALLY Team her favorite part of the movie is all the singing and dancing, so much so, she knows all the words to each of the songs! Well, Indra, we applaud you! Your enthusiasm for the movie surely brightened our night! We hope to see all of you in your best Lego attire at next weeks showing of The Lego Movie at Magnuson Park!

You can find a complete list of movies being shown at Magnuson this summer here.
