What fans can expect from the Seattle Seahawks season

Friday, January 1, 2010by  Christa VanWieringen

Seahawk and Packers fanLast night the defending World Champions, the Seattle Seahawks, kicked-off their season with a win! Sweeping the Green Bay Packers 36-16, the Hawks gave us a taste of what we can expect from them this season.

The Hawks offense alone proved once again that they’re a force not to be messed with. Seattle’s running back, Marshawn Lynch, had possession of the ball 110 yards on 21 carries with two touchdowns. Did someone order dinner with a side of Beast mode?

Not only are we excited about the players and the games but if you’re a lot like us, you can’t wait to participate in all the pre-game fun activities. Whether you’re tailgating in the parking lot, or spending your time in Touchdown City – here are a few things Supercharged Seahawks Fans can look-out for on game days.

Parking: This can get real expensive, real quick! Our best advice is to get there early and park a little farther away. Walking an extra block to the stadium can save more money in your wallet!

Noise, and lots of it! Supercharged Seahawks Fans are loud and proud, and have a Guinness World Record to prove it! If you feel the noise is overwhelming, don’t forget to bring your earplugs!

Pre-game entertainment:Touchdown City is a popular destination for those who enjoy starting their game-day experience early. Opening 3 hours before kick-off on home game days, you can find plenty of fun activities in here, including the PEMCO booth!

The next time you’re at Touchdown City, be sure to stop by the WALLY van to get your FREE souvenir photo! This year we’ve introduced something new, the YELLFIE booth! What’s a YELLFIE booth? Well, why don’t we show you?

Our official Supercharged Seahawks Fan, Michael Eng, stepped inside the YELLFIE booth and give us his best Roar.

Each and every one of you has the opportunity to stop by and give us your best yell to see if you’re the loudest Seahawks Fan around. Don’t forget! The person with the highest level decibel reading at the end of the season will win TWO free tickets to the last home game against the St. Louis Rams.  Our current highest is 118.6, think you can beat that?
