Movies at Riverfront Park goes old school with "Grease"

On Wednesday, the WALLY team attended the first-ever PEMCO Insurance Outdoor Movies at Riverfront Park. The park was packed and the event drew a large crowd, especially for the first night.

People were extremely excited to enter into the raffle for a chance to win some great prizes, including our PEMCO Premium Seats upgrade. While hundreds of people entered, only one could win PEMCO's prize. We remember one boy named Luke Fritz, who made sure to kiss his entry form for good luck before he put it into the jar.

Sure enough, a kiss of good luck was all he needed because Luke was our first winner of the PEMCO Premium Seats upgrade at Riverfront Park. The prize package included two trail chairs and a cooler full of goodies to enjoy during the movie. Luke and his friends were thrilled!

The movie of the week was an old classic, "Grease." Moviegoers participated in a “John Travolta Trivia” and many were decked out in different T-Birds or Pink Ladies outfits.  Matt Phillips approached the WALLY team in his Grease tee and told us he acted as Danny Zuko in a play a few years back. His favorite part of the play was singing “Grease Lightning” and getting to wear a leather jacket in the perfect portrayal of the bad boy greaser.

Each Wednesday, the WALLY team will be at Riverfront Park giving away the PEMCO Premium Seats upgrade and having a good time with those who stop by. The schedule for the rest of summer is:

July 24: “The Incredibles”

July 31: “Ghostbusters”

August 7: “The Sandlot”

August 14: “The Avengers”

August 21: “The Princess Bride”

We hope to see you there!
