The "Storm Crazies" Bring the Noise to Key Arena

Monday, August 15, 2011by  WALLY Team

The self-proclaimed "Storm Crazies" were out in full force Saturday at KeyArena to cheer on the Seattle Storm as they took on the Atlanta Dream, the same team the Storm swept in the 2010 WNBA Finals.

PEMCO and the brand ambassadors were there to be a part of all the action, both in and outside of the arena.

Before the game, hundreds of devout fans waited in line for a Sue Bird bobblehead, commemorating the All-Star point guard's 10 years with the team.

A few fans waited in line outside KeyArena for nine hours. As tip-off approach, fans started chants and even performed a dance number with the Seattle Storm Dance Troupe.

The brand ambassadors and WALLY van were stationed out front to interact with hoops fans and snap complimentary souvenir photos.

Fans were definitely in a festive mood outside KeyArena before the game, but it was nothing compared to the boisterous revelry that took place once it started.

The Storm Crazies were on their feet and cheering throughout the game, making enough noise to rattle the entire building.

The Atlanta Dream got the best of the Storm, winning 92-63, but that didn't stop the Storm Crazies from showing immense pride for their hometown team.

The brand ambassadors get to see lots of avid Seahawks and Sounders fans while out in the community, but the Seattle Crazies take fandom to another level.
